    Job Description

    AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Case Manager for our Brooklyn Employment Business Services (EBS) programs. The Case Manager is expected to develop and maintain positive relationships with funding sources, fellow providers, schools, training sites, employers, participants and their families, and staff. This person is responsible to meet the requirements of all contracts to which he/she is assigned and to adhere to all compliance requirements.

    Salary: $38,000-$42,000

    Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Conduct intake assessments and guide job seekers through the enrollment process.
    • Maintain ongoing relationships with job seekers to support their employment journey.
    • Coordinate pre-employment activities and instruct employment skills (in collaboration with team members).
    • Liaise with service providers and connect with family members to ensure comprehensive support.
    • Write detailed reports on case progress and outcomes.
    • Facilitate meetings and case conferences to discuss individual needs and strategies.
    • Organize outreach events to promote services and recruit new enrollees.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree preferred. Master's degree desirable.
    • Two years of working with the developmentally disabled population preferred.
    • Teaching or training experience, including instructing or mentoring program participants.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with families, employers, funding sources, and Care Coordinators.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
