    As an EMS Logistics Associate, your role is vital in maintaining the fleet and organization of inventory within EMS stations and vehicles. We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team, with a focus on managing medical supplies and supporting Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operations. This role combines traditional pharmacy technician duties with responsibilities related to EMS vehicle readiness and inventory management. Responsibilities: Stocking and Inventory Management: • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of medical supplies, equipment, and medications. • Stock EMS stations, ambulances, and trucks with necessary supplies following established inventory guidelines. • Maintain organized and accessible inventory storage to facilitate quick access during emergencies. Data Entry and Record Keeping: • Enter inventory data accurately into computerized systems or inventory management software. • Update inventory records with quantities, locations, expiration dates, and usage information. • Generate reports on inventory levels, consumption rates, and reorder needs as required. Inventory Tracking and Replenishment: • Monitor stock levels and track inventory movements between EMS stations and vehicles. • Conduct regular inventory counts, audits, and inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Collaborate with procurement teams to reorder supplies based on usage patterns and demand. Order Fulfillment and Distribution: • Fulfill internal requests for medical supplies from EMS personnel and responders. • Prepare supply kits or bags for ambulances and emergency response vehicles. • Coordinate with logistics teams for the timely delivery or transfer of supplies between locations. Quality Control and Compliance: • Perform quality checks on medical supplies to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards. • Adhere to infection control protocols and storage requirements for medications and perishable items. • Maintain documentation of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and disposals. Collaboration and Communication: • Work closely with EMS teams, paramedics, and logistics coordinators to support inventory needs. • Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding inventory availability, shortages, and replenishment. Qualifications: • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training in pharmacy practice, inventory management, or healthcare is a plus. • Experience: Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a healthcare-related role preferred. Experience using computerized systems or inventory software is essential. • Licenses/Certifications: Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred. EMS Vehicle Operator (EMSVO) certification or the willingness to obtain it is desirable. • Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, and emergency response procedures. Basic understanding of EMS operations is an asset. • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items safely. Ability to handle high-pressure situations, with strong attention to detail. • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed, including the possibility of emergencies or varying shifts. Compensation: $25 hourly
