    We are looking for a proactive, independent energy analyst with proven record of measuring energy efficiency, analyzing data on energy use, recommending improvements, developing energy models and and assisting clients/contractors with technical support for any installations.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Support energy project managers, track activities, make presentations and report to other stakeholders as needed

    Communicate with stakeholders, contractors, clients and follow up on project action items

    Support the development of feasibility studies on wind, solar, energy storage and other energy projects

    Experience with alternative power sources, energy conservation retrofits, and carbon offsets

    Ability to analyze trend data and develop reports with recommendations, discrepancies, and description of system performance

    Familiar with new building commissioning & existing building retro commissioning

    Assist with the evaluation of interconnection alternatives

    Experience with data logging and analysis

    Evaluate current energy consumption and demand, and calculate forecasted savings (kWh, megawatts (MW), therms, etc.)

    Estimate energy use and energy reduction/savings for multifamily, commercial and industrial sector

    Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, life safety and building automation systems

    Assists on the analysis and research of incentives, rebates, grants and other business savings and revenue generating activities

    Deep knowledge of Energy Efficiency, demand response, energy storage and other renewables systems

    Research and evaluate options, present recommendations, and implement programs to reduce energy usage

    Analyze current energy consumption and alternatives for energy projects in relation to existing market alternatives, cost, current infrastructure, implementation feasibility, and available incentive programs.

    Qualifications/Experience

    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration

    3-5+ years of experience as an energy analyst/engineer

    LEED Certification (a plus)

    Energy Star Certification ( a plus)

    Six Sigma Certification (a plus)

    Strong understanding of Title 24 and Energy Codes

    Experience with alternative power sources, energy conservation retrofits, and carbon offsets

    Ability to analyze trend data and develop reports with recommendations, discrepancies, and description of system performance

    Familiar with new building commissioning & existing building retro commissioning

    Experience with data logging and analysis

    Experience with energy savings and financial calculations

    Experience supporting multiple energy projects
