Qualifications
Program Administration & Support
- Lead development and assist in refining program workflows and internal documentation to support the administration of demand-side initiatives.
- Create and maintain accurate records of program participation, enrollment, and compliance documentation.
- Support cross-functional coordination with internal departments and member cooperatives to ensure consistent program delivery.
- Recommend process improvements based on feedback, research, and program results.
Member Engagement & Communications
- Serve as a resource for cooperative members, helping to answer questions and guide them through program participation.
- Develop communication strategies and educational materials to promote program awareness and engagement.
- Represent the organization at events, meetings, and conferences, exercising discretion in messaging and relationship management.
- Research & analyze member needs and industry best practices to inform engagement strategies.
Data Collection & Reporting
- Collect and manage program performance and participation data to support reporting and analysis.
- Assist with developing dashboards and summary reports using tools such as Excel and Salesforce.
- Research & identify trends in program data to help inform future improvements.
- Recommend minor adjustments based on data insights and observations.
- Interpret program data to identify areas for operational improvements.
Team & Administrative Support
- Assist with internal administrative tasks, project tracking, and program coordination efforts as assigned.
- Participate in team planning meetings, cross-functional collaboration, and training opportunities to expand knowledge and build experience in the energy sector.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in energy management, sustainability, business administration, data analytics, or a related field required.
- Knowledge of or experience with demand response, energy efficiency, or distributed energy programs is a plus.
- Exposure to cooperative utilities or public power is helpful but not required.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM/data platforms is preferred.
- Ability to draw insights from data and make informed recommendations.
- Comfortable learning and applying emerging tools and technologies.
Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with team members, co-ops, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions aligned with broader objectives. Must demonstrate a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to grow professionally and contribute to a mission-driven organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Other Requirements
- Must be comfortable traveling independently several times per year to member cooperative territories and industry events.
- Must be organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with autonomy.
- Comfortable working in settings where initiative, curiosity, and relationship-building are valued.
