    Job Summary

    The Engagement & Experience Administrative Assistant is a full-time position that serves as the key point of contact for members, staff and other constituents in addition to executing crucial administrative and communication tasks to support the Chief Experience Officer and to assist in the overall efficient operations of the area of practice. This position is based at the Delta Tau Delta International Headquarters in Fishers, Indiana and is not remote.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Serves as initial contact and resource person (i.e. answers all direct incoming calls, welcomes and greets guests, etc.) for those needing assistance or information for the Fraternity.
    • Administratively supports Chief Experience Officer.
    • Maintains daily and long-term calendar for the Chief Experience Officer and provides background information and/or support documents in preparation for scheduled appointments, meetings, conferences, etc.
    • Coordinates and supports Chief Experience Officer travel.
    • Provides general office administrative support including processing and distributing mail and correspondence, packaging shipments, filing, etc.
    • Assist in administrative duties related to experiential programs and initiatives to include chapter and member outreach, ordering and inventorying supplies, etc.
    • Assist Enterprise Communications department with the production of the Rainbow and proofing articles and written materials as needed.
    • Responds to and handles confidential and sensitive information with poise, tact and diplomacy.
    • Provides ideas, opinions, or information in an articulate, professional manner.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Nonessential Duties/Responsibilities

    • Manage office supplies for the Fraternity.
    • Maintain operations of the postage machine.
    • Address updates/obituaries as needed.

    External Relationships: Regular contact with the undergraduates, vendors, alumni, donors, and friends of the Fraternity as appropriate.

    Job Requirements: (Education, experience, knowledge, skills, overtime, travel, licenses, etc.)

    • Excellent computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Office software suite.
    • Extremely detail oriented, precise, organized, and able to work independently and manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong writing and communication skills.
    • Previous administrative experience is preferred.
    • Experience with a non-profit organization is desirable.
    • Commitment to maintain confidentiality and a high degree of accuracy in constituent records.

    Physical Effort: Office environment, standing, sitting, walking, lifting between 10-25 lbs, speaking, hearing and manual dexterity
