    Job Description

    Position Description:

    Maintain building by performing repairs and maintenance to air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities.

    Job Functions

    • Physically respond to emergency situations, such as fire, power outage, gas or water leak, or any other emergency situation or repair.
    • Perform periodic maintenance to equipment and machinery as outlined in preventative maintenance schedules.
    • Perform repairs and maintenance to air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities as necessary.
    • Perform work assignments to complete renovation and remodeling projects.
    • Possess knowledge and understanding of engineer drawings and principles.
    • Carry and communicate by two-way radio.

    Position Requirements:

    Job Specifications

    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Vocational/technical school training and 3 years previous engineering experience preferred.
    • Must possess knowledge of necessary equipment and the appropriate safety standards.
    • Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
    • Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
    • Must have excellent communication skills.
    • Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift. Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
    • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
