Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the civil and water resources engineering areas.
- NE Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain the license within 6 months.
- Basic understanding of water resources and associated regulations in Nebraska and/or Iowa.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
- Solid critical thinking skills, along with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude under pressure, strong team player, responsible, and self-motivated.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in AutoCad Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing with availability for periodic travel.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
