    An Associate engineer planner is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects. The role involves managing project documentation, coordinating resources, tracking timelines, and facilitating communication between departments to ensure that projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities: • Support project planning and scheduling by tracking project timelines, deadlines, and milestones. • Assist in resource allocation, ensuring that necessary tools, materials, and personnel are available for engineering projects. • Coordinate with project managers and other departments to align schedules and address potential delays. • Maintain and update engineering documentation, drawings, specifications, and technical files. • Ensure all documents are properly controlled and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements. • Assist in preparing technical reports, project summaries, and compliance documentation. • Create, update, and manage BOMs to ensure accuracy in parts, materials, and specifications. • Facilitate meetings, distribute project updates, and follow up on action items as needed. • Coordinate with inventory management and procurement teams to ensure necessary materials and components are available for projects. • Track and implement engineering change orders (ECOs) to ensure that project plans and documents reflect up-to-date specifications. • Assist with compliance checks, regulatory documentation, and quality control processes. Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities: • Understanding of engineering principles related to the specific industry. • Familiarity with project planning and scheduling software. • Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze data, and come up with solutions to keep projects on track. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to report progress, explain technical aspects, and coordinate with stakeholders. • Ability to review project plans and schedules carefully to ensure accuracy. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Education and Experience: • Associate degree in Project Management, Engineering, Technology or related field • 1-2 years of experience managing projects, coordinating teams, and/or other planning-related duties • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical schematics • Experience in a manufacturing environment Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
