  • Responsibilities
    • Design and cost estimation of primarily custom foundry equipment but also for other heavy industrial application, ensuring adherence to customer specifications.
    • Supervise and conduct testing on materials provided by customers, covering processes such as casting cooling, sand screening, casting orientation, and conveyance. This testing could be conducted in our laboratory or at a customer’s facility.
    • Oversee the development of equipment engineering drawings, both customer approval & manufacturing, by directing and guiding designers. At times this may require visits to the customer’s facility for measurements, interface verification, and evaluation of the existing plant processes.
    • Offer technical consultation to internal teams and customers, resolving field issues as they arise. Occasional visits to the customer’s facility will be required.
    • Efficiently manage projects, delegating tasks both internally and externally, and oversee multiple projects across different phases.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders including internal departments, sales representatives, vendors, and customers.
    • Ensure completion of all documentation requirements as per customer specifications.
    • Assist in equipment startup, whether remotely or on-site at the job location.
