    JOB OVERVIEW:

    Provide support for the Project Manager on any ongoing project making sure they are all complete on time, Responsible of the Preventative Maintenance making sure that rooms are given back on time, that all materials need it are on stock. Overlook any outside contractors that are schedule by director of engineering or Project Manager.

    ** REPORTS TO:** Director of Engineering

    SUPERVISES: Preventative Maintenance Staff

    ** KEY RELATIONSHIPS:**

    Internal: Director of Engineering, Project Manager, assistant Director of Engineering, staff in Engineering and all Departments.

    External: Resort guest and residents guest/visitors, vendors and contractors.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Essential:

    • High school graduate.
    • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
    • Provide legible communication and directions.
    • Ability to:
    • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
    • Prioritize, organize and follow up.
    • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
    • Follow directions thoroughly.
    • Understand guest and resident’s service needs.
    • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
    • Work with minimal supervision.
    • Maintain confidentiality of guest and resident information and pertinent resort data.
    • Is familiar with basic construction, engineering and maintenance verb-age and descriptions.
    • Maintain logs and records
    • Maintain proper inventory levels.

    Desirable:

    • College degree.
    • Experience in Hospitality Industry in similar position.
    • Previous guest and resident relations training
    • Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish.
    • Familiar with HotSOS System application
    • Familiar with preventive maintenance programs

    PHYSICAL ABILITIES

    Essential:

    • Exert physical effort in transporting a minimum of 25 pounds.
    • Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
    • Reach 12 inches.
    • Remain in stationary position for 8hours or throughout work shift.
    • Satisfactorily communicate with guest and residents, management and co-workers to their understanding.
