ECO Coordinator
Saint Paul, MN | Direct-hire | $75,000-$85,000 | 100% Onsite
Konik is partnering with a local manufacturing company that is looking to add an ECO Coordinator to their team. This role is focused on managing and ensuring the accuracy of engineering documentation within the SAP ERP system.
ECO Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Oversee and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) within the SAP system, which includes releasing associated documents, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Search for and integrate product documentation, such as specifications and vendor quotes, for purchased components.
- Approve and release parts in the production system while adhering to specific requirements, and notify relevant departments of updates via ECOs or email communication.
- Develop and manage ECOs in the production system to account for adjustments initiated by other sales organizations.
- Request and integrate drawings and BOMs from international affiliates into the SAI system when needed.
- Identify and resolve duplicate materials in the production system to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Create new parts in the production system based on requests from Inside Sales Representatives, conducting research to address customer inquiries as required.
- Complete other tasks and assignments as directed by leadership.
ECO Coordinator Requirements:
Physical Demands:
- Spend approximately 90% of the workday performing desk-based tasks using a computer and other office tools.
- Occasionally (10% of the time) move throughout office and production areas to retrieve files, gather information, and collaborate with colleagues.
Education/Skills/Experience:
- Postsecondary education in business administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with engineering documentation and experience working with BOMs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and handle a high-volume workload efficiently.
- Strong computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and SAP being advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
