Summary – Field Technician - Utility Systems Inspections: In this position you would play a key role in locating and performing inspections of underground utility systems to detect and assess potential issues essential to the well-being of the communities you live and work in. You will receive on-the-job training and have the opportunity to progress your career as you gain experience.
Important Note Regarding Current Hiring Need:
- We are in need of two Field Technicians that are willing to travel to a project in Chicago, IL for the first 2 months of employment. Travel will be weekly from Monday-Friday, with trips home each weekend until the project is complete.
- Once the project is complete the goal is to assign you to upcoming work in the St. Louis area
- All travel expenses will be paid by the company during the project in Chicago.
Responsibility Summary – Field Technician \- Utility Systems Inspections:
- Assist in locating and performing inspections of underground utility systems through the use of specialized equipment.
- Prepare the site for inspection and clean-up equipment following inspections.
- Following proper safety procedures on all work sites.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment as needed.
- Document work completed through the use of field notes and tablets
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualification Summary – Field Technician \- Utility Systems Inspections:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel to the project in Chicago
- Preferred experience in a hands-on, outdoor settings
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50lbs
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time
- Possess and demonstrate proficiency in the above responsibilities
