Job Description
Olsson’s Telecommunications team provides clients with services ranging from long haul outside plant design, building entrance design, Fiber-To-The-x (FTTx) design, GIS asset management/fiber mapping services, and project permit coordination. As a student intern, you will gain an understanding of safety, productivity, and our impact on the communities we live and work in. We will insert you into the workflow of our team so you can understand the impact you have on real projects for real clients. You will gain some experience in our office setting, but the majority of your internship experience will be field based work confirming construction as-builts and completing construction infrastructure punch lists. You will travel to different project sites and work in various weather conditions. Some overnight travel may be needed during the summer depending on project locations. Learning all the systems we work in; you will gain valuable experience that will transform what you’re learning in school and help you envision your future career.
