Engineering Manager

Salamander Designs seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to meet our growth opportunities.

The Engineering manager is responsible for managing and developing a fast-paced team and supporting key capabilities of the department. A hands-on manager involved in product design and engineering while managing resources to meet company goals.

Key Skills and experience:

· Engineering, Product Design

· Project management

· Manufacturing Process engineering

· Personnel management and development

· Quality Control, Continuous improvement, Lean Manf, 5S

· Computer skilled; Solidworks CAD, Microsoft expert

· College Grad with 7+ years of work related experience

Secondary Skills preferred: Include but are not limited to experience:

Purchasing, Logistics, Production Management and Scheduling

Responsibilities:

· Manage the Engineering Team of 5

· New Product design and engineering including CAD, BOM creation and costing

· CAR and ECN, Engineering Database mgt.

· Special Project mgt.

· Manufacturing Process development. Work cell, equipment
