Position: Engineering Manager

Position Summary:
The Engineering Manager will lead the engineering team in developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency in a furniture manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.

• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

• Use lean principles to identify and implement changes.

• Develop capital expenditure proposals and manage engineering budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 7+ years of experience in engineering roles within a product manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials specific to furniture production.
