    Project Manager
    Anoka, MN | Direct-Hire | $90,000 – $110,000 (Flexible) | 100% Onsite

    Konik is partnering with a local manufacturing company that is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team. This role will ensure the seamless operation of custom web converting equipment from initial setup through customer site transition. This role also involves providing comprehensive training on existing equipment at client facilities to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

    Project Manager Responsibilities
    Equipment Operation & Optimization:

    • Oversee the installation, setup, and fine-tuning of custom web converting and coating equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues to ensure peak performance.
    • Conduct on-site customer training to ensure safe and efficient equipment use.

    Process Development & Improvement:

    • Support the prototyping of new products and processes by working closely with design and production teams.
    • Participate in design reviews to contribute technical insights and improve manufacturability.
    • Evaluate and enhance production processes for greater quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

    Training & Technical Support:

    • Develop and deliver technical training programs for operators and maintenance teams.
    • Provide ongoing support to customers for process improvements and technical upgrades.
    • Recommend and implement process enhancements to boost productivity and minimize downtime.

    Project Manager Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred) or equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of experience evaluating and optimizing automated equipment manufacturing processes or managing projects in a manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining complex mechanical and automated equipment.
    • Familiarity with web handling, coating, and converting technologies.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve process inefficiencies.
