    Job Description

    An engineering technician's typically involves applying engineering principles in practical situations, assisting engineers with various tasks, and troubleshooting equipment and systems. They may build prototypes, conduct experiments, collect data, and prepare reports, often working under the guidance of engineers.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Work closely with engineers in various phases of the engineering process, including design, development, testing, and implementation.
    • Troubleshooting and Repair called upon to diagnose and resolve problems with equipment and systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly.
    • Construct prototypes, assemble systems, and perform maintenance on equipment and machinery.
    • Conduct experiments, gather data, and analyze results to inform engineering decisions and improve processes.
    • Prepare reports, documentation, and technical drawings to keep track of project progress, design specifications, and test results.
    • Provide technical support to other team members or clients, answering questions and offering assistance.
    • Work in quality control, inspecting products, tests, and collecting data to ensure they meet quality standards.
    • Responsible for ensuring that work areas and equipment are safe and comply with relevant regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in engineering technology or a related field.
    • Have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working as a engineering technician.
    • SECRET security clearance minimum

    Additional Information

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on Government contracts.
    • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
