We are looking for an Engineering Technologist to interpret engineering sketches, specifications or drawings to ensure proper implementation of security solutions. Products and processes the worker will engineer are related to physical and cyber security infrastructure. The areas of work include physical security, cybersecurity, or a combination of both in the electronic security industry and Information technology.

Tasks include:

Review project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, and objectives, and test nature of technical problems such as redesigns.

Calculate required capacities for equipment of proposed system to obtain specified performance and submit data to engineering personnel for approval.

Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements fabrication, assembly and testing.

Installation, configuration, improvement and monitoring of new systems and the implications that their usage have on the business.

Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.

Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.

Studying and monitoring existing systems to ensure structural integrity and assess required upgrades.

Monitoring all software, hardware, equipment and systems continuously and setting up protocols for feedback.

Coordinating with other departments, such as marketing and management, to identify areas for improvement and find optimal solutions.

Requirements: Experience in the physical security field. Bachelor's Degree English speaking Fluent spanish is a plus Must pass criminal and background screening
