Fairbanks Morse Engine, is seeking a highly-motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. As an Intern, you will be taking on impactful work while engaging in a dynamic learning experience and working side by side with our team.
Opportunities exist for students who are pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communication or Business with junior standing or higher and hold a minimum GPA of 3.00.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERNS ON THIS PROJECT MAY INCLUDE:
- Perform competitive analysis on marketing and sales data in key product markets
- Assist in determining and analyzing key market drivers and statistical correlations
- Assist with planning and implementing of special events, trade shows, news conferences and industry meetings
- Update and maintain competitive product database
- Input and edit text for website, Google and SharePoint
- Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials
- Provide support to social media efforts
- Maintain tracking report of public relations activity
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite products; Microsoft SharePoint, Social Media – Facebook and Twitter
- Must be a self-starter with ability for cross functional collaboration
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
- Must be detail oriented, solution orientated and exhibit a desire to learn
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills allowing for success in a team environment
- Must have access to reliable transportation
