Job Description
The Enterprise Applications Analyst is responsible for analyzing, supporting, implementing, and maintaining Longbridge Financials enterprise applications. This role involves interacting with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, documenting business requirements, collaborating with the technical team to develop solutions, creating test scripts, leading business testing, and obtaining written approval in line with Longbridge’s Change Management and Project Management policies.
Primary Job Duties:
- Schedule meetings with business stakeholders to elicit business requirements and document current state and future state business process models. Develop expertise in how the data will be used by the business.
- Control the requirements management process by creating common understanding of requirements, communicating critical dates for delivering requirements, understanding critical needs vs. nice to haves and maintaining documentation according to the standard agreed process.
- Collaborate with the technical team to define the sources of data, type of ingestion, relationships, tables, variables, and transformations that may be needed.
- Oversee the configuration and deployment of new enterprise applications and/or enhancements to existing systems
- Assist in the integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with the Reporting team and other SME’s to proactively troubleshoot data quality issues by identifying the root cause of data discrepancies and determining and implementing recommendations for resolution.
- Work with business counterparts on operational readiness activities to ensure that necessary training and procedure updates have occurred prior to implementation of enhancements and repairs.
- Develop Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Plan (UAT) and testing in coordination with project and business leads.
- Monitor application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementation performance optimization strategies
- Monitor application usage data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Schedule and lead business testing efforts, documenting defects and submitting for rework and obtaining written business sign off to deploy to production.
