    Job title: Entertainment and Corporate Events Producer

    Reporting : The Entertainment and Corporate Events Producer reports to Memoir’s Chief Creative Officer (CCO).

    Location: Orlando, Florida

    Position Type : Full-time

    Job Summary :

    In 2024, the role requires a dynamic and versatile individual who can execute a broad role for Memoir, leading a new business vertical for the company, as a Producer for our Entertainment and Corporate Events division. This role will initially be filled by one individual, and it will encompass a blend of business development and producing responsibilities. As the client base and scope of work for division expands, there will be an opportunity to specialize further, separating the role into two distinct jobs; one for Producer and one for Business Development. Ultimately, the expectation is that a Producer will not have a primary role in business development, but will continue to work collaboratively with the company’s sales team.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Networking and Outreach:

    • Establish connections with leaders in Cruise Ship Entertainment, Theme Park Entertainment, and Performing Arts (Festivals and Centers).
    • Identify key industry organizations and conferences to attend to promote Memoir.
    • Client Relationship Management:
    • Organize and attend client meetings.
    • Organize and lead internal meetings regarding important client matters.
    • Exercise proactive and responsive communications with clients and coordinate Memoir team participation when required.

    Producing and Project Management:

    • Lead the assembly of creative and logistical/technical teams.
    • Coordinate the internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth communications and excellent event production outcomes.
    • Oversee hiring, coordination, and communication with staff, artists and vendors, including
      • Casting
      • Production management, production team and technicians
      • Contracting (consistent with Memoir contracting protocols)
    • Maintain effective client communication and coordination related to production execution.
    • Provide run of show management oversight from inception to completion of events, including internal and external post mortem communications internally and externally.
    • Oversee necessary purchases of show assets (in coordination with the creative and warehouse or build teams); or rentals of assets or equipment that may be required for a production.
    • Develop and manage budgets, subject to approval of the CCO and COO, using company formats and consistent with company protocols.
    • Ensure logistical efficiency through all phases of a production.
    • Coordinate with internal Memoir teams or outsource tasks based on capacity and project needs.

    Entertainment Support for Memoir Owned Events:

    • Hire all location talent managers and agencies, and keep open & clear communication throughout event
    • Manage administrative paperwork, such as contracts and payments, and maintain organized filing structure
    • Manage all performer and vendor payments
    • Maintain relationships with talent agencies
    • Create department SOP's
    • Ensure creative scopes are met as it relates to costuming & character portrayals
    • Conduct on-site "quality checks during run of show
    • Disperse relevant information to all talent agencies - event dates, creative scopes, timelines, costume care, SOP's, etc.
    • Manage logistics of costume shipping and receiving
    • Source and manage costume vendors
    • Oversee all costuming needs (ordering, fabrication, etc)
    • Cast and oversee all talent for all photo shoots, video shoots and media engagements
    • Oversee casting calls for owned events
    • Coordinate hair & makeup services, as needed
    • Research for casting, talent booking, and costume fabrication
    • Coordinate fittings & call backs, as needed
    • Create and oversee budgets for costumes, performers, rehearsals, laundry, props, etc.
    • Ensure each location Entertainment SOW is being met
    • Coordinate travel logistics for “destination entertainment,” as necessary
    • Gather, review and organize nightly entertainment event reports. Escalate any concerns accordingly
    • Occasional travel
    • Reports to Creative Director

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Goals:
