NOW HIRING: Entry Level Accounting Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial operations while supporting the overall efficiency of our department. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and check requests in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with general ledger entries
- Provide support in the preparation of financial reports and budgets
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Assist with coordination of meetings and preparation of necessary materials
- Support HR-related functions such as employee onboarding and maintaining personnel records
- Assist with various ad-hoc tasks and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience or coursework in accounting is a plus but not required
