You are comfortable working on a computer all day and are detail-oriented as well, so you are computer literate.     About Us: We are a team of people helping people. Our independent insurance business is based on the relationships we build within our Team, our clients, potential clients, our community, and the companies we work with. As an independent insurance agency, we work for our clients, not one insurance company.

    Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. . You may be asked to work occasionally during an evening to or Saturday support local and community events.

This is an entry-level training position with rapid opportunity for advancement. You would start as the receptionist, and customer support. You will work with our existing clients helping them with their current home, auto, boat, and umbrella insurance policies. This position requires an insurance license. We will help you obtain a license at our cost if you don't have one already. Upon successful training completion, you can advance into insurance account management or insurance agent.

    Job Responsibilities: · Welcome the face of the Agency to people who call on the phone and walk in the front door.

    · Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email

    · Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects.

    · Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically.

    · Maintain client files and process correspondence between our agency and the client or company · Successfully complete 90-day training program and insurance licenses · After training assist clients with payments, changes, and questions regarding their insurance policy · Learn to help current clients with new policies after further training

    Professional and Personal Skills: · Friendly voice and pleasant tone over the phone and in person.

    · Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

    · Has appropriate business attire.

    · Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    · Type quickly and accurately. · Has attention to detail and doesn't mind detailed work

    · Organized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rules.

    · Familiar with multi-line phone systems and how to use one.

    · Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical and honest.

    Wages and Compensation: We offer competitive wages between $18-19/ hr depending on experience. Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans with company matching. We are looking to train the right person for insurance. This is an entry-level position within our team with the expectation of advancement of responsibility and pay. We are looking for someone to train in insurance and provide long-term career growth in both responsibilities and pay.

    Experience Requirements:· No previous insurance experience is required. We will train and educate the successful candidate. However, having previous experience working within the insurance industry is a bonus. Prefer 2r 2 years of experience working in an office setting.
