    Job Title: Entry‑Level Administrative Assistant

    Location: Charleston, SC (West Ashley)

    Position Overview

    We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and detail‑oriented Entry‑Level Administrative Assistant to support our Southern Pines office. In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in office operations, assist with day‑to‑day administrative tasks, and help keep our teams in the field running smoothly.

    Key Responsibilities

    Front‑Desk & Reception:

    • Greet timber‑land clients; answer and route incoming calls

    • Field general inquiries about timber sales

    Document & Record Management:

    • Draft, proofread, and format contracts, timber‑sale agreements, landowner correspondence

    • Enter and update data in GIS spreadsheets and CRM systems

    • File and archive physical and electronic records

    • Work hand in hand with accounts relievable/payable clerks

    • Inputting data into accounting software

    Qualifications

    Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or coursework in business administration or related field is a plus

    Experience: 0–2 years of administrative or customer‑service experience

    Technical Proficiency:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

    • Comfortable learning GIS‑based spreadsheets, CRM software, and office technologies

    Skills & Competencies

    • Excellent organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Competent in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets

    • High attention to detail and accuracy, especially with contracts and data entry

    • Professional demeanor and customer‑service orientation when interacting with landowners

    • Discretion handling sensitive land‑use and financial information

    • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn about office operations
