    Entry-Level HR Assistant

    Upward Bounds Behavioral Health Center is an addiction recovery center servicing adults facing the challenges of substance and mental health abuse. Upward Bounds is seeking a highly motivated HR Assistant to play a crucial role in supporting the entire office team while directly assisting the CEO and HR Administrator. This role is vital in ensuring the efficiency and productivity of daily office operations, managing key HR-related tasks, and maintaining a high-functioning workplace.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Serve as a primary support to the CEO and the HR Administrator in key operational tasks.

    · Act as a central resource for the entire office staff, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.

    · Oversee daily office operations, ensuring all administrative and HR functions run efficiently.

    · Maintain the office work schedule and ensure proper coverage across departments.

    · Monitor office productivity and ensure team members are executing tasks efficiently.

    · Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to streamline operations.

    · Assist with daily timecard errors ensuring compliance with company policies.

    · Manage client files, track paperwork, and follow up on pending items to prevent delays.

    · Review reports for accuracy, identifying and addressing omissions or discrepancies.

    · Support HR functions, including employee onboarding, record-keeping, and compliance initiatives.

    · Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple responsibilities.

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support staff and executive leadership.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong computer literacy.

    · Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

    · Strong time-management skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (not required).

    · Previous experience in HR support, office administration, or executive assistance is strongly preferred.
