Qualifications: Please note, this is a sales position! Qualifications for an Entry-Level Insurance Sales Agent at New York Life typically include: • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred, with a track record of success in meeting or exceeding goals. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for building relationships with clients and explaining complex insurance products. • Ability to listen to clients’ needs, assess their financial goals, and recommend suitable insurance products. • Strong drive to achieve personal and professional goals with the ability to work independently and stay motivated. • Capacity to assess client needs, evaluate potential risks, and offer tailored solutions. • Familiarity with life insurance, annuities, and retirement planning is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided. • Commitment to adhering to industry regulations, maintaining client confidentiality, and practicing with integrity. • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. • Must be willing to obtain a state Life & Health insurance license if not already licensed. Compensation: $60,000 - $91,000 yearly
