The Law Office of Shane R. Kadlec is seeking an Entry Level Legal Assistant to support our legal and office staff. Compensation: Responsibilities: As our Entry Level Legal Assistant, your duties will include administrative and case management tasks, including: • Greeting clients and visitors both by phone and in person, providing excellent customer service. • Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls to attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff. • Organizing and inputting client information accurately into case management software. • Maintaining office and common areas. • Maintaining the firm's calendar, confirming appointments, and assisting with scheduling. • Coordinating and communicating with medical providers for client treatment. • Drafting and sending documents to send to insurance companies and medical providers. • Ordering medical and billing records. • Assisting with legal research and communicating with clients, medical professionals, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, candidates should have the following qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required; some college or an Associate’s degree preferred. • Bilingual in Spanish and English. • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or office setting. Prior experience in a law firm is a plus but not required. • Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail. • Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively. • Must be comfortable speaking on the phone and handling high call volumes. • A team player who is adaptable and willing to learn. Compensation: $42,500+ per year DOE
