We are looking for an Assistant Community Manager who thrives on providing excellent service and wants to grow their skills in property management, office administration, and resident relations.
At our family-run manufactured home community in Sussex County, NJ, you’ll have the chance to wear many hats and gain hands-on experience in management, sales, customer service, maintenance, and more. What You'll Do:
Provide exceptional service to residents, helping to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Assist in managing rent collection, deposits, and follow-ups on any outstanding balances.
Learn about Leasing and home sales
Support our Teams in coordinating community maintenance, ensuring that our property stays beautiful.
Learn tenant-landlord laws, manage tenant relations and retention
Handle resident concerns and resolve them quickly and professionally.
Keep the office organized and assist with daily administrative tasks, budgeting, and reporting.
Enforce community rules to ensure property compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations.
Organize events and community activities to foster a close-knit community.

The ability to follow instructions, stay focused, and follow up
A Skill set that includes proficiency in MS Office, Google platforms, Excel, and relevant databases and software
An Innate ability to learn proprietary software
Interpersonal savvy with excellent communication skills (verbal, listening, and written)
A well-organized person with excellent time management skills
An enthusiastic Go-Getter, who is people-friendly and can make others feel welcome and comfortable
Someone diplomatic and skilled at negotiation and conflict resolution
Candidate must be able to lift and move a minimum of 25 lbs and has to ability to walk to community
