Overview:
Blackstone Builders is looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Roofing Sales Specialist to join our team. With an average earning potential of $5,000 per deal, this role offers an excellent opportunity to start a rewarding career in roofing sales. You will learn to drive sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling our roofing products and services, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and presenting tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
Client Consultation: Conduct initial assessments of clients' roofing needs, listen attentively to their requirements and preferences, and provide guidance and recommendations under supervision.
Solution Presentation: Present roofing product options, features, and benefits to clients clearly and compellingly, addressing any questions or concerns.
Quoting and Proposal Development: Assist in preparing accurate and competitive price quotes and proposals for roofing projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company profitability goals.
Negotiation and Closing: Learn to negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure contracts and close sales, leveraging your developing communication skills and industry knowledge.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, contractors, and other industry stakeholders, fostering trust and loyalty through exceptional service and support.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications:
Sales Experience: Some sales experience is preferred but not required. A willingness to learn and a strong desire to succeed in the roofing or construction industry.
Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and influence purchasing decisions.
Negotiation Skills: Developing negotiation skills with the ability to navigate sales scenarios and close deals under guidance.
Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding or willingness to learn about roofing products, materials, installation techniques, and industry regulations.
Results-Driven: Self-motivated and results-oriented, proactive in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits.

Compensation:
This is a commission-based role, with new representatives typically earning between $50,000 and $125,000 annually.
