    About this role

    Are you a dynamic and ambitious Sales Development Representative with a passion for expanding customer bases and generating qualified sales opportunities? If so, we want you onboard to help UHSM revolutionize the healthcare industry! As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Team Development Leader and take ownership of engaging prospective individuals and families, paving the way for our Account Executive team to close deals.     On-site : This is a full-time, in-office position at our Santa Ana, CA location.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Learn & become an expert on UHSM’s product offerings.
    • Leverage opportunities to learn the market and business.
    • Contact leads via phone, auto-dialer, email, and/or web chat to qualify prospects and promote UHSM product offerings and services.
    • Answer inbound direct calls from prospective new members to pre-qualify and provide opportunities for the Account Executive team.
    • Work with team members to meet conversion, acquisition, and revenue goals.
    • Maintain detailed records of outgoing and ingoing calls as well as follow-up information and outcomes.
    • Meet or exceed projected weekly and monthly performance targets.
    • Intercept and respond to customer complaints or concerns with products and seek to resolve the problem while adhering to company policy.
    • Accurately document the customer's personal information including phone number, address, and other order information.
    • Persuasively engage the customer in conversation to explain how UHSM products and/or services will add value to their lives and meet their needs.
    • Ask relevant leading questions to understand the customer's needs.
    • Follow prepared scripts to provide accurate and compliant information.
    • Contribute to overall team success - relay any information that may be of value to the team such as best practices, market sentiment, competitive pressures, etc.

    Required Qualifications

    • 1+ years of customer service, sales, or sales/business development experience.
    • 1+ years of experience with CRM or sales enablement software.
    • Able to work in our Santa Ana, CA office location.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Healthcare sales experience.
    • Strong technical aptitude.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
    • Creativity, curiosity, and desire to find “the third alternative” when faced with a challenge.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Desire to make an impact at a disruptive technology company.
    • Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
    • Avid learner – our company is always evolving, and your knowledge must evolve too!
    • Able to accept constructive criticism and continually improve sales techniques.
    • Experience in a position where meeting sales goals was an important indication of performance.
    • Eagerness to grow.
