    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our team supporting Airborne Early Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) in Oklahoma City, OK.

    The successful candidate will engage stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.

    Position Responsibilities - Entry Level 1 :

    • Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
    • Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
    • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.

    Position Responsibilities - Associate Level 2 :

    • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
    • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
    • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
    • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

    This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
    • Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • More than one year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
    • More than one year of experience negotiating directly with suppliers
    • Entry Level 1 : Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Entry Level 1: Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

    Associate Level 2 : Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

    Relocation:

    Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

    Travel:

    Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

    Summary pay range for Entry Level 1 : $48,450 - $59,850

    Summary pay range for Associate Level 2: $56,100 - $69,300
