Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, or Environmental Health and Safety. Two-year degrees may be considered with good experience.
- Thorough knowledge about all applicable regulations.
- Knowledge of air permits, hazardous waste management, and environmental reporting requirements.
- Military and other experience in workplace safety will be considered in lieu of a degree. Internships or co-op experience are great pluses.
- Must have excellent skills with MS Office tools for the purpose of writing reports, communication by email, analyzing statistics, developing PowerPoint presentations.
- Some knowledge about Behavior Based Safety programs.
- Must be willing to work in a factory/manufacturing environment.
