    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager for the Fort Collins, Colorado office. This full-time position within our Environmental group will lead a team to help manage a variety environmental remediation projects. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience as a team manager and investigation/remediation project experience, require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively in a high-performance team.

    Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Building strong client relationships.
    • Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
    • Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
    • Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
    • Manages more complex clients and projects.
    • Lean and mentor Project Managers with multiple projects or program of projects.
    • Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits.
    • Managing scope, schedule, and budget for small to mid-sized investigation/remediation projects.
    • Will require some regional travel for field visits.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Geology, or closely related field, and
    • 8+ years of Project Management experience and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
    • Candidates will have to pass a background check that will include a Motor Vehicle Records check.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 12+ years of experience in environmental consulting
    • 8 years of project management experience
    • Experience working for clients in the oil and gas market sector.
    • Experience working with environmental regulatory agencies.
    • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training.
