Environmental Technician / Tank Installer, Spill Response

Eastern Environmental Solutions (EES) is a full-service environmental contracting and remediation firm leading in environmental response, remediation, and restoration services. EES is based in Manorville, NY; and provides industry services for: government, commercial and residential customers with outstanding service.

Job Description

EES is actively seeking a highly motivated, well experienced, and skilled field technician who specializes in very unique skills which include pulling and installation of oil tanks. This is a full-time position and requires an individual that is team oriented, a multi-tasker, as well as, a strong individual contributor with a superior sense of urgency.

Common duties include:

Responding to water and oil-related emergencies, such as floods and leaks, to mitigate damage and restore affected areas. Duties include assessing the extent of oil damage, extracting water and oil, removing damaged materials, implementing drying techniques, sanitizing affected spaces, and using moisture meters to monitor progress. Removing of oil tanks and installing new tanks.

Providing exceptional services to our customers while following company policies are essential for this role.

Participating in emergency response and being on call - Some evening and weekend on-call hours are necessary as we are a 24/7 disaster response company.

Qualifications:

Experience with tank abandonments and removals and the installation of new tanks.

Related experience and/or training in sales and working with the public, or equivalent combination experience preferred

Construction restoration experience

Ability to work Saturdays and overtime if needed and spill response is a must

Valid, US driver's license

Clean driving record with ability to obtain and maintain a NYSDMV medical card.

Able to move/lift/push/pull/carry an average of 50lbs.

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires driving a company vehicle. Must be 19 years of age. Drug screening and motor vehicle record check will be performed on all new hires.

For Compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $22.00 - $32.00 per hour.

Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, and other factors permitted by law.
