Epic Applications Analyst - Beacon and Research

Join a leading healthcare organization as an Epic Applications Analyst specializing in Beacon and Research. You will play a critical role in implementing, supporting, and enhancing complex application systems within a dynamic research environment. This position requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of Epic's Beacon and Research modules.

Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, and implement solutions for complex research workflows and processes within the Epic environment.

Develop and maintain custom configurations, including order sets, smart forms, treatment plans, and therapy plans.

Ensure seamless integration between Epic and other research systems, such as CTMS and Dimensions.

Troubleshoot interface issues and resolve data discrepancies.

Conduct thorough testing and validation of all system changes prior to implementation.

Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users on system functionality and best practices.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of system documentation.

Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation as needed.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience as an Epic Applications Analyst with a strong focus on Beacon and Research modules.

3-5 years of experience with Epic certifications in Beacon and Research.

Experience with Encora is a plus.

Background in research or oncology is preferred but not required.

Proven ability to independently analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Must live in: NV, WY, OK, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC, VA, IN, MI
