    Job Summary

    Equipment Driver is responsible for regional deliveries in TX, OK, LA. Driver will work 40 to 70 hours a week, depending on employee desire and available workload. Equipment Hauler will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of equipment at customer request, driver maybe required to stay overnight.

    Responsibilities

    Equipment Hauler · Safe and efficient loading, unloading, securing, and transporting different types of customer equipment · Complete daily truck log and submit reports timely · Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately · Function as the face of Status Logistics in all interactions with customers and the public.

    Dry Van Driver · Safely and efficiently operate Status Logistics vehicles for runs as dispatched. · Complete daily truck log and submit reports timely · Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately · Manage routes to maximize efficiency · Function as the face of Status Logistics in all interactions with customers and the public.

    Qualifications

    · Must be at least 23 years of age and read and write at the high school level · Possess a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A · Must have 2 years of experience in loading and hauling heavy equipment · Physical requirements include; vision of 20/20 with or without corrective lenses, and ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, lift up to 75 pounds, push & pull rolling racks in and out of trailers and climb on a repetitive basis. · Must have a clean MVR with a minimum of two (2) years verifiable commercial driving experience · Can pass DOT physical, drug screen and criminal background check · Have no more than 3 moving violation in the past three (3) years or any serious driving offenses in the past seven (7) years. · No Citations for a DOT defined accident in the past three (3) years.
