    The Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all company-owned equipment and machinery, including mowers, trucks, sprayers, tree care equipment, and pest control tools, are properly maintained, repaired, and in optimal working condition. This role is essential for maximizing equipment lifespan, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safety and efficiency in our day-to-day operations.

    Responsibilities

    • ****Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment, including mowers, trucks, trailers, blowers, aerators, irrigation systems, and pest control sprayers.

    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems, wear and tear, and needed repairs.

    • Replace filters, belts, spark plugs, oil, and other parts to keep equipment running smoothly.

    • Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs on all types of lawn care, pest control, and tree care equipment.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other components.

    • Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies required for equipment maintenance and repairs.

    • Order replacement parts as needed and ensure timely availability of necessary components.

    • Respond promptly to emergency repair needs to minimize equipment downtime and disruption to daily operations.

    • Be available for on-call or after-hours repairs as needed, particularly during peak seasons.

    Requirements

    • ****Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance (preferably in the lawn care, landscaping, or related industries).

    • Experience with small engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance is a plus.

    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

    • Strong mechanical knowledge of a variety of equipment, including mowers, trucks, blowers, sprayers, and other landscape maintenance tools.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying equipment.

    • Experience with fleet management and/or managing a large number of vehicles and equipment.
