We are seeking a reliable Equipment Operator to safely operate trucks, loaders, rollers, tractor mowers, and other highway construction equipment. This role involves equipment operation, minor maintenance, and manual labor to support construction and roadway maintenance tasks. Work is performed under supervision, with frequent inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Operate various construction and maintenance vehicles , including trucks, loaders, rollers, and mowers.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and cleaning on assigned equipment.
• Defect Reporting & Repairs: Identify and report equipment issues , assisting mechanics as needed.
• Recordkeeping: Maintain logs of equipment operation and maintenance.
• Manual Labor: Assist with general labor tasks when not operating machinery.
• Emergency Response: Work extended hours and remain on call 24/7 to assist with emergency situations.
• Radio Communication: Utilize a PTC radio system for transmitting and receiving information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid Class B CDL.

• N or X endorsement (required for operating tank vehicles).

• No CDL restrictions for:- Manual transmission

* Air brakes
* Truck-trailer combinations

• Valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Physical Card).
