Great positive environment with lots of possibilities to grow Responsibilities: • Assume other pre-closing and post-closing tasks as directed • Maintain proper accounting procedures when depositing and removing earnest money funds and final disbursement from the escrow account • Support escrow officer by managing administrative and clerical duties to complete escrow transactions and any follow-up requests • Prepare closing documents such as settlement statements, escrow files, and closing statements • Represent escrow officer during the closing process in client, title company insurance representative, loan officer, insurance company representatives, escrow processors, and team members, and real estate agents communications • Answer all the phone calls with a positive and helpful attitude since you'll be the first impression to the client • Receive and sort mail, do input and process paperwork that come back from clients • Filing and organizing all paperwork in files • Open orders with title and keep agents and clients informed on what's happening with the transaction • Follow up with the agents after closing to see how we did and see if we can earn their business Qualifications: • Diploma from high school or GED required -- some college preferred • 2-3 years of residential or commercial escrow assistant experience • Strong experience with Microsoft office required, escrow software experience preferred • Exceptional problem solving, customer service, time management, and communications skills • Clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties experience required Compensation: $42,000 - $48,000 yearly based on experience
