    This position is eligible for Eskaton's health benefits package the first of the month following 60 days of employment and Paid Time Off benefits program after 90 days of employment.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Administrative Assistant provides support and assistance to Eskaton's Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer, and General Counsel.  This position provides administrative assistance related to risk management, business law, finance and accounting.  This position also conducts research, performs technical and administrative duties relating to the Support Services departments (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Risk Management and Workers’ Compensation), and assists in prioritizing and scheduling department assignments and meeting deadlines.

    The starting salary for this position ranges from $64,480 to $77,376 annually.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Performs office management functions for Senior Vice President Finance/CFO and General Counsel including scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars, sorting and responding to correspondence, expense reimbursement, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
    • Risk Management: Maintains the insurance policies including preparing applications, reporting claims and coordinating insurance certificates for all risk policies.  Supporting legal matters as they arise.
    • Contracts: Maintains log and routes for approvals of contracts.  Insures all insurance requirements are met.  Prepares logs to insure executed contracts are on file and pending expirations or automatic renewals are appropriately reviewed and affirmatively executed.
    • Bank Accounts: Maintains signature cards, correspondence and fund transfer authorizations. Oversees corporate credit card accounts in accordance with policy.
    • Assists CFO in preparing Board of Director and Audit Committee presentation materials.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION: Associate's Degree with emphasis in business preferred.

    TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Seven years as an Administrative Assistant or Legal Secretary with general knowledge of risk management, business law, finance and accounting.  Previous experience supporting a CFO or attorney preferred. Familiarity with Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs required.  Must have experience working as liaison with key personnel within the company and community.

    JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have a wide knowledge of risk management and business law principles and accounting and finance practices.

    The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen.
