We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with good negotiation and organizing skills who can work full time. As our estate planning attorney, you will draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for our clients and their families. To ensure that an estate's management is handled in accordance with the wishes of the estate owner, this position requires a significant level of responsibility. The applicant we are looking for must have extensive knowledge of estate planning. If this sounds like you, please apply! $80,000 - $150,000 yearly based on experience and book Responsibilities: • Prepare wills, trusts, and power of attorney documents • Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required • Working knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation • Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Candidates should be great communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high • Experience at a legal firm working on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years is required • Must be licensed to practice law in Florida and have the ability and desire to work in our Jacksonville office.
