  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Probate and Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in estate planning and probate law, with excellent organizational and communication skills. You will assist our attorneys in managing estate planning and probate cases, ensuring that all documents and filings are completed accurately and on time. Responsibilities: • Drafting and reviewing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives • Assisting with the administration of estates, including preparing probate petitions, inventories, and accountings • Communicating with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other parties involved in the estate planning and probate process • Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information for estate planning and probate matters • Managing case files and maintaining accurate records and documentation • Coordinating and scheduling meetings, hearings, and other appointments • Providing support to attorneys in all aspects of estate planning and probate cases Qualifications: • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills • Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred • Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired • 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 yearly
