The Meier Law Firm is seeking a warm, personable, highly knowledgeable, and team-oriented attorney to perform general estate planning, probate, and trust administration services and become an integral part of our leadership team. This person will be deeply rooted in the firm’s success and completely trustworthy. They will have the full support of our team but will perform their duties with little management because they have great character, skills, and work ethic. They will feel invested and take pride in seeing our firm continue to grow and succeed. This person will be enjoyable to work with and help maintain our team mentality atmosphere and client-first approach. Responsibilities: • Occasionally conduct in-person planning sessions for potential clients and determine legal strategy and next steps. (Please note we have other team members who primarily handle initial planning sessions and client engagement.) • Design legal strategy with clients, and then delegate, supervise, and finalize all legal drafting performed by paralegals and legal assistants. • Occasionally appear in court for non-contested conservatorship and trust modification petitions. • Above all else, take excellent care of clients and help us further our mission of ensuring every person who comes through our door is provided outstanding legal services with compassion and care. Qualifications: • This person must already be a reputable and experienced estate planning attorney with at least 2 years of experience in estate planning who can perform the job duties below with little training or supervision. • Must have an active license and be in good standing with the California Bar. Compensation: $135,000 - $160,000 yearly
