We are on the hunt for a talented estate planning attorney with a minimum of five years of experience. The right applicant will possess strong experience in preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, directives, and other related documents. A fantastic candidate will also have knowledge in one or more of our other areas of practice: probate, guardianship, Medicaid planning, and special needs planning. Compensation: $125,000 yearly plus variable compensation Responsibilities: • Prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives for healthcare • Conduct effective initial consultations • Interface with clients providing excellent customer service • Identify legal issues related to Medicaid and Special Needs Planning (training will be provided) • Collaborate with client financial and other advisors to create a comprehensive plan • Participate in community research and educational programs to promote estate planning awareness • Research and analyze the law on complex issues • Develop in other areas of elder and special needs law Qualifications: • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school • Licensed with the State Bar of Georgia • Minimum of five years of estate planning experience • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and technical aptitude for learning other software programs such as practice management software • Knowledge of document drafting software (Experience with WealthCounsel and ElderCounsel is a plus) • Excellent drafting and legal research skills • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills • Ability to show empathy to clients and put them at ease • Attention to detail • Willingness to become proficient in the firm’s other areas of practice Compensation: $125,000 annual base
