    We’re looking for a detail-oriented estate planning drafter to join our busy and growing law firm. In this role, you’ll support our attorneys and paralegals by drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other key estate planning documents with accuracy and care. You’ll spend your days writing, reviewing, and organizing legal drafts to help ensure clients’ legacies are protected. Responsibilities: • Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related legal forms, under the guidance of attorneys and paralegals • Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness • Organize and maintain client files and document templates in accordance with firm procedures • Communicate professionally with team members and occasionally with clients to collect or clarify drafting details • Track drafting deadlines and ensure timely completion of documents to keep the client process moving smoothly • Support the legal team with other estate planning tasks as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently Qualifications: • Strong writing and grammar skills with a keen eye for detail—professional or academic writing experience is a plus • Highly organized and able to manage multiple drafting tasks and deadlines at once • Comfortable working on a computer all day, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word) • Willingness to learn legal drafting software and internal systems (training provided) • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Experience in a professional office environment preferred (law firm experience is a bonus, but not required) • Associate’s degree or some college preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required Compensation: $17 - $20 hourly
