    JOB SUMMARY

    We are searching for a compassionate and highly qualified esthetician to perform skin and body treatments. The esthetician will consult with clients to assess their requirements through consultations, making informed recommendations, assisting them in selecting appropriate treatments, tracking progress, and ensuring their care and satisfaction.

    The esthetician will ensure treatments start and end on time and will maintain knowledge to promote and sell services and products. The esthetician must ensure that work areas are clean, equipment is sanitized and linens are clean at all times.

    To ensure success, this position, in addition to all others on the team, is required to meet revenue goals by building and retaining a solid client base. Ideal candidates will be compassionate, empathetic, caring and professional, and have a talent for making clients feel good about themselves.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Provide facials, body treatments, and skincare product treatment plans
    • Adhere to appointments and monitor time and schedule
    • Welcome clients and accompany them to and from treatment rooms
    • Interview and assess each client's skin condition, appearance and other characteristics to obtain information about contraindications and to evaluate suitability of treatments
    • Advise clients on proper skin care and recommend suitable treatments and home care regimens to maintain good health and wellness
    • Maintain product knowledge to promote and sell services and products
    • Care for linens and replace between sessions; performing general housekeeping duties in the treatment room
    • Inform clients of monthly specials
    • Adhere to esthetics policies and protocols pertaining to chemical usage and cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • State licensure to practice as an Esthetician
    • 2+ years of industry experience
    • In-depth knowledge of skin care
    • Proficiency in performing all applicable treatments
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Customer oriented with outstanding people skills
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift 30 pounds
    • Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality
