Job Summary
The main function of this role is to support the front of house and the trainers by providing coverage when there’s PTO and call
our for-lunch coverage. As a trainer you will carry out facial workouts and drive exceptional customer service, sales and build
client retention within our studios. As a studio host you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of workout bookings
and the first point of contact for the customer, offering 5* service and maximising every sales opportunity through rebooks and
retail sales.
You will be predominantly be based in our Zero Bond studio but must be willing to travel across all locations (Upper East Side,
Nordstrom and Saks) when necessary, to further support and drive the business.
Our new hire Bootcamp training is scheduled for August 26 - September 6 from 9am-5pm. Full attendance is required, and all eligible candidates MUST be available to attend every day of Bootcamp!
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Maintain an exceptional customer experience at every touch point of the clients experience in the studio, while having strong focus on maximizing retail potential and client retention
Responsible for selling the brands’ unique offerings, workouts, homecare products, and maintaining firm understanding of all, as they become updated with company business
Demonstrate the ability to attract and entice customers with effective retail theatre, incorporating the client journey & brand story
Confidently answer all client inquiries regarding FaceGym workouts, while communicating accurate contraindications to clients at point of booking
Coordinate smooth running of daily business, while effectively communicating the company cancellation and lateness policy to clients, and appropriately enforcing as necessary, with tact and professionalism
Manage customer complaints with confidence, and overcome selling challenges, both in the studio and over the phone
Ensuring the front desk and workstations are clean according to Health & Safety guidelines, and stocked with the products and tools/equipment necessary to carry out all FaceGym services and job tasks
Communicate effectively and professionally with all the whole team throughout the day and day-to-day handover, making the team aware of any challenges may arise
Demonstrate full proficiency of Zenoti system booking system, and all operating point-of-sale systems, registers and card machines
Work to support management by through necessary cover across studio locations, when necessary, to further support the brand and drive the business forward
Portray a professional image at all times, ensuring high-standard representation of the brand, and consistently maintaining a positive demeanour while engaging with all stakeholders
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene while adhering to FaceGym uniform and grooming guidelines
Meet individual targets and performance goals, and accurately completing all required paperwork and reports for the store and the team
Demonstrate self-marketing abilities through word-of-mouth advertising, participation in events, social media, and strive to grow both personal and studio business
Maintain clean and presentable work stations, practicing proper sanitization methods and genuine care of the many tools and high-end equipment devices
The ideal candidate will:
Must be eligible to work in the US, and have a valid New York Esthetician License
Must be flexible to work consistent weekly shifts, reasonable combination of evenings and rotating holidays, including minimum four (4) weekend shifts per month
Must be able to effectively deliver all menu services and “workouts” after successful completion of FaceGym bootcamp training
Must be able to stand for minimum 3 hours while performing consecutive workouts, and demonstrate safe practice of body mechanics and self-care techniques throughout
Must be consistently punctual, reliable, flexible, and dedicated to assigned work commitments with all work-related activities and stakeholder interaction
Pay Structure:
Studio Host $25/hr
Trainers are paid according to the standard pay structure of “hourly versus commission” wherein the gross earned weekly salary will be equivalent to whichever sum amount is higher – total service commission (which is issued at 26% of the pre-taxed menu price) or the total hourly pay for all clocked hours that fall under the ‘primary duty’ category of client service time (issued at $25 per hour)
$40/hr event pay
Retail commission: 25% for skincare and manual tools, FaceGym EMS and electric tools 10% commission, and 3rd party product at 5% commission
