    This position’s goal is to drive sales and revenue into the business while maintaining a high profit margin. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, skilled in sales and closing deals, organized in managing sales pipelines, and able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

    Responsibilities

    Travels to customer’s locations to meet regarding products, services, and customer need

    Measures and estimate handyman/home improvement projects.

    Conducts minimum of fifteen estimates weekly

    Writes detailed estimates and materials lists for each project and ensure photos are taken of work to be done.

    Submits estimates within 24 hours of estimate appointment.

    Determines key variables for cost and other estimates.

    Conducts research to obtain the best result for customers on price and outcome.

    Communicates with office coordinator on all estimates that have been submitted.

    Communicates with team leads and field supervisors on estimates and jobs.

    Plans with leads and office coordinator that majority of material needed for the job is on site prior to beginning the job.

    Builds relationships with key vendors.

    Analyze closing rates to improve closing percentages.

    Manages sales pipeline.

    Attends community events, home shows, and networking events.

    Ensures accurate bids through hitting gross margin targets and measuring monthly.

    Follows up with previous customers and previous estimates to generate business.

    Follows the 5 step House Doctors sales process to close projects.

    Prospects new lead sources providing innovative ways to acquire more work.

    At times may be asked to assist in the field with completing handyman/remodeling work

    Qualifications:

    Experience: 5 years plus in a sales role as well as experience in home remodeling.

    Compensation:

    Base pay plus variable commission of up to 3% on target revenue
