As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to our overall success.
Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and drawings to understand scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and overhead.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to gather necessary information.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to ensure competitive pricing.
- Present estimates to management and assist in bid preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and project-related documents.
- Continuously seek ways to improve estimating processes and accuracy.
- Occasional travel to local sites
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an estimator in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimating software and ERP Systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
- Associate’s Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field
