Position Overview The Estimator meets with customers and writes estimates to be submitted to insurance adjusters, TPAs, and customers for approval. Additionally, the Estimator gets contracts signed and effectively communicates with customers, adjusters, and fellow team members. This is a critical role as it contributes to the growth of the organization.

Requirements: Note: This is not an entry-level position so training for essential skills will not be provided.
The ideal applicant should possess five years of experience
Knowledge of Xactimate to write estimates is required
Knowledge of Simbility to write estimates preferred
Understanding of construction principles preferred
IICRC Certifications preferred
Insurance Adjusting Experience a strong plus
Ability to work independently
Ability to meet crucial deadlines
Effective, professional communication skills
Valid Driver's License & insurable driving record
Must pass and maintain a satisfactory background screening and pre-employment drug screening
Responsibilities:
Experience with DASH, XactAnalysis, Encircle, DocuSketch, and reading MICA reports
Develop clear and accurate line item Xactimate & Symbility estimates.
Meet all Service Level Agreements (SLA) for all PuroClean Business Development National programs with regards to estimating guidelines.
Properly evaluate losses and complete accurate scope sheets
Ensure that proper administrative items and supporting documentation/photos are part of final estimate.
Competitively prices non-insurance estimates and wins the job.
Management of compliance documentation, business resume and national account programs
Ensure that all supporting documents are present when creating Time & Materials (T&M) estimates.
Clearly communicate with customer, COI, adjuster, or financially responsible party the basis for your estimate.
Clearly communicate with Production Managers and/or Production Staff with regards to scope of work and missed revenue opportunities.
Clearly communicate with sub-contractors and explain the scope of work that needs to be performed.
Preparation of job estimates for property damage, residential and commercial, including Fire, Water, and Mold Damage
Use of Xactimate to write estimates accurately and in a timely manner to submit to Claims Coordinator in order to meet insurance and TPA guidelines
Assist with the growth of the organization
Qualifications:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a genuine interest in people. Representing the brand with honesty, integrity, and professionalism
Aptitude with handling customers, showing patience, empathy, and clarity of ‘message’
Skilled with organization, record keeping and close attention to detail
Talent in identifying and maximizing opportunities to build relationships with teammates, clients, and customers to create win-win situations and support the business.
3 years Estimator experience required. Must have experience using Xactimate & Symbility.
Prior work experience with a disaster restoration / mitigation company preferred.
Must be familiar with various insurance company program guidelines.
High School diploma (or equivalent) or higher (or equivalent experience) required.
Proficient with navigating a computer, computer software systems, and typing.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Must be self motivated; works well individually.
Must be a team player; works well with team.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
